Options for Family Immigration

If your parents, spouse, or children want to enter the U.S., you need to explore what petitions will secure them Lawful Permanent or Temporary Residency. Your loved ones may qualify for an immigrant visa if a U.S. citizen to whom they are immediately related sponsors their entry into the country.

However, a familial relationship with the U.S. doesn’t guarantee a person’s right to enter the U.S. Applicants must:

  • Prove that their sponsor is at least 21 years old and directly related to them as a child, parent, or spouse
  • Prove that their sponsor is alternatively a qualifying party under the U.S.’s definition of “distant relatives”

We’re here to help you communicate with possible sponsors about your desire to enter the U.S. Once we find you a sponsor, we can outline your sponsor’s Form I-130 and file your petition for immigration.
