If you want to file for asylum within the U.S., you must be located in the U.S. but not have standing as a U.S. citizen. You can reach out to our immigration lawyers to then initiate an asylum application online.

The application, known as Form I-589, allows anyone eligible for asylum to remain within the U.S. without paying a fee. The application allows the applicant to include their children and spouse present in the U.S. as parties who deserve to benefit from the right to remain in the country.
